PR Wellness. IS THE REAL DEAL. I'm an elite runner and before finding PR I ate kind of healthy but also kind of not. I run a lot so my physique stays pretty consistent. I always liked the idea of hiring a nutrition coach but never had anything pressing enough for me to actually do it. And then...
I had an accident where I broke the sacrum in my back and went from running 90 miles a week to ZERO -- IT WAS DEVASTATING. I could only do a limited amount of cardio exercises and I knew dialing in my nutrition during this downtime was key. That's where PR Wellness came in. My original goal
was to hyper-focus on healthy eating and cross training to try and maintain my fitness. Then once I was recovered I could bounce back as fast as possible.
After hiring PR, what ended up actually happening was even better -- It was a total transformation. I started off lean with 13% BF and after 5 solid weeks of consistent adherence to their plans I was at 4% BF with more muscle than when I started. With this fitness and a healed back I was able to slowly incorporate running bit by bit and by week 8 I ran my first race (post-injury) and ran a personal best marathon time (5:11 pace).
I couldn't have hoped for a better comeback and PR Wellness was truly my secret sauce. they helped me realize the marriage between nutrition and fitness is where an athlete can really find their ultimate edge.
